We brought out 2 structural engineers from ADF Engineering to review the roof truss girders for their load bearing capability and fall arresting loads. They were determined to be sufficient and approved.
A rigging engineer from C.M. Mockbee Co. Lifting and Rigging purchased, inspected, and installed our beam clamps and attachment hardware. We will continue to bring in a rigging engineer to rig additional locations as needed and yearly for inspections.
We do not allow our instructors, students, or other users to swing on our equipment. We use 2 different beam clamp at every rigging location. If for any reason one were to fail, the second is there as a safety. At least 8" of mats is beneath every rigging point.
